Empty Space Reunion will be presented
in partnership with Shunpike.
Seattle non-profit organization Shunpike will provide us with much needed services: They’ll host our online ticketing portal, accept tax-deductible donations toward our event with any surplus going to support the Empty Space Archive at UW, and much more.
Shunpike empowers artists through equitable access to vital expertise, opportunities, and business services.
Shunpike envisions a community where independent artists and arts groups thrive creatively and economically, and where their work is widely valued as fundamental to the cultural, social, and economic wellbeing of Washington State.
Programs include fiscal sponsorship for artists and organizations; Storefronts, an innovative arts program that activates communities, neighborhoods, and streets by matching the work of local artists with vacant or under-utilized retail spaces; Artists of Color Expo & Symposium (ACES), a two-day, POC-led, community-curated program with performances, exhibits, presentations, workshops, listening opportunities, and open forums; The Studio at 2+U, providing opportunities for workshops, rehearsals, and presentations; Amazon’s Artist in Residence program; and Arts Business Clinics.
